Grainger or ?? sells a kit for the filler neck with a valve. Gravity flow no pump needed. Works great for the past 4 years.
Emission lines filling could be an issue at the top of the tank. Has not been on the diesel. |

I have been tryin to find the right look. I think the tank is going to have to be hidden for me. the tank inside of a tool box is going to be the ticket..

You need to check the state and Fed motor codes. I believe it is illegal to use these style tanks as a fuel tank. There are securing/bolting issues and placement of the tank. It seems silly to be able to carry the fuel and then another to use it as an additional tank. I believe that the tank/tool box units are for transfer only and no gas. I run a 460 dually and wanted to do the same thing. There were more issues than I cared to resolve. I am thinking of using the 2 factory 14 gallon tanks and placing a Explorer rear tank @30 gallons as a back up.

These are really nice combo tank/toolbox, they come with fuel gauges. I have a 90 gallon with a 8 inch deep toolbox in the top all alum. ATP. The top of it is level with the bed rails.
