Thanks for posting those pictures Danny. I've already painted and stripped the body of the red paint because it didn't lay correctly on the trunk lid. I'm seriously considering doing the all white version now.
And I see the ends of the fenderwell headers in both photos. guess I'll go with those. Anyone out there know where I can obtain some 1/24th scale versions?.LOL Thanks to all that have helped and also provided the history too. It sure makes this website the best of the best. |

By the way,,, Hooker Headers also makes a fenderwell small block header for '62-'67 Chevy IIs that many use. You might possibly find a photo of them in a catalog or on line, so you can at least get an idea of how the tubes are formed. Take care. Danny Durham |

Thanks Danny for setting me straight, and my apologies to Mopar68.
I also believe giving credit where it is due. Dwight, thanks for the Stahl header pic. It will be useful for sure in either my search or my effort to fabricate some fenderwell headers. I've fabricated many parts and components over the years, but never really had any success with headers. I will post pics as I progress. Thanks to everyone for their help. Walt |

Hi Folks,
Attached are a couple(hopefully) of pictures of the progress on my project so far. The fender well headers are preliminary and still need some tweeking. The interior is complete and I hope that the "White" car had a red interior. The engine is complete also. Hope you all like them. Thanks again for all the pictures and verbal pieces of information. This project would not be as accurate without all the help you all have provided. Walt |
