Thumbs up Re: Questions re: "Grump's" 66 Nova

Hi Folks,
Attached are a couple(hopefully) of pictures of the progress on my project so far. The fender well headers are preliminary and still need some tweeking. The interior is complete and I hope that the "White" car had a red interior. The engine is complete also.
Hope you all like them.
Thanks again for all the pictures and verbal pieces of information. This project would not be as accurate without all the help you all have provided.
Walt

Here's an "AFTER" shot for you.
Only one I have been able to find so far.

Geez! We can all be thankful that it was a towing accident. If Bill had been injured badly, it could have changed the face and events of drag racing history. It's truly amazing how 1 thing can completely alter things in life.
It boggles the mind when you put that into perspective. Thanks for sharing this photo Charlie.

From the black and white shot above, you can see the hardware is "natural" metal color and the door skin is "red" on the inside of the door. Doesn't prove anything if they "jammed it" if they color changed it. But, would they have taken that much effort to remove or tape the nuts, screws and latch before painting?
