Anyone care to divulge approximately how much horsepower these engines are making?

First off the 283s bored and stroked to about a 292 turn about 9200 rpm with a cly head with a 140 cc intake port and a 60cc exhast with 64 cc camber. They are topped off with a 490 cfm carb that makes over 500 hp with 237hp NHRA factor. The 289 fords will not make as much power but have a lower factor of 210 hp. Wilsons car is powered by a 250 hp 327 using the same head and carb as the 283s. If you would put a stick in a AMX with a 290 it would run well to. A big congrats to Ed for getting this to happen. I think Belanger uses the 327 250 factored 260 in the red 65 Chevy II. Valves, combustion chamber and runner CC's all larger, carb size same.
