Yea, same here... one second, nothing, then add a quart
and it looks overfilled... I do the same , put in gear and recheck.... you just can't recheck after you've added... I'm thinkin the end needs to be ground off, so it won't retain so much.fluid... if i.could find.correct dipstick.for the.car, i.would probably. go back...thought this would ease Trans removal/swaps...I always check.both sides of the stick, too

Be aware that any aftermarket stick and tube can read improperly. However in my experience Lokar is hard to fill and usually not reporting the correct depth of fluid.
I like to verify the depth with the pan off. The full line Hot should Not be above the pan rail. |

I have trouble reading the Lokar also. I run a metric 200, seems to be fine at current level, but just curious how might the trans act if it is somewhat over filled?
