Back about 100 years ago when I started in this sport NASCAR was the governing body at Atco in NJ and they had a Leavers lose (LL) system. Staging lights, one yellow and one green, basically a pro tree,. I believe it was a five tenths tree. The tree was shaded so you couldn't see the other guys light.
