The poll was closed at 11:34AM....
I would imagine slower cars are a yes, faster cars would vote no.

I read the other divisional posts, worse red light, sounds fair. You want to really even it up? Take out the heads up of same class too. Then you can't buy the race anymore.

So much for class racing. That ends class racing. Why don't you go to your local track & just bracket race? I mean the rules are the rules, you don't like it, don't race.

It now is a bracket race for maybe 90% of the time, if you want "class racing" run off the national records like before.

If you don't want a possible heads up race, then stay out of Stock, Super Stock and Comp!

How did that work? Was every race basically a heads-up race with no breakout? Was your dial based-off the National Record for your class at that time? Curious as to how it worked back then.

I remember in 1974-75 you ran off the National record with a tenth under breakout was allowed.
It was handicap racing, with the handicaps coming from the National record in your class

I think the index system came out in 1977 & if your car was faster than your given index
you were allowed to dial quicker, but not sure if you can dial different each round.
Don't think you were.

So anybody that has a fast car, or wins a heads up is considered buying a race? That's a moronic statement. Let me guess your a bracket racer? Do you run an NHRA class car? If not your opinion is irrelevant. Have a nice day

Gotta agree with you there Todd. Plus, the faster car doesn't always win........ Plenty of people can't hit the tree to save their lives......
