HP rating for this combo?

Wouldn't the new h.p. rating apply to any RWD/GT car. ? .If I were to put that combination in my 2000 Firebird would it be 270 or 279?

279 Yes, it would apply. Not car specific; it's engine application specific. If you use that engine (88 or 89 350 230hp TPI) in any RWD SS/GT application, it is rated at 279.
