NHRA has approved 4 aftermarket cylinder heads for SBC stock engines for 2018. It's up to you to look up your engine in the guide and choose the ones listed for your combo,

RHS Cast Iron heads # 12400 & 12402 accepted as replacement head

Edelbrock heads # 60887, 60637 accepted as replacement head

Dart Cast Iron heads with cast # 10021070, 100220010 accepted as replacement head

World Products Cast Iron heads with cast #'s 043600 & 043610 accepted as replacement heads

It looks like the Edelbrocks are an aluminum casting and come with 2.02 intakes instead of the 1.94. Would this still be a legal replacement but + 5 hp?
