Just imagine if the TAFC hopped the guardrail on the left side of the track. Factor in the dust bowl parking situation and the flaky timing system. Drop it from the schedule all together. Dave everyone has a right to there opinion. Personally I've been racing at the Valley since the mid 70's . Sure not perfect but our association ASRA has 3 races a year there and I believe as many other of our members the Valley does a pretty dam good job ! Not perfect but the crew sure does try. Maybe moving the date , but they all can't be spring and fall. Sorry but my 2 cents.

Mark from what I hear the ASRA races are well run and traction isn’t an issue so perhaps it isnt the track or staff. You must admit when the divisional is in town it’s a totally different deal with the shear amount of cars hitting the same spot on the starting line in the heat of the summer when then sun is shining it’s brightest. For whatever reason, track, staff, climate, date, volume of cars, etc this race presents the same problems year after year. Maybe moving the date is the best option. Current course and speed isnt working.
