Is the 1976 Camaro with the 305 2bbl still a good combo? I got everything except the cam, gears for the 8.5 10-bolt rear, and converter for the Metric 200. Found a complete 305 2bbl out of a 76' Nova for $150 to use as the starting point for the engine. Bullet did the crank, cast pistons on Scat rods. Most of the work was done locally. Car is running with a different engine. I started kicking this around awhile back and got enough parts together to do it whether it was a class car or a experiment to bracket race with in my 83' Camaro.

I really enjoy reading this stuff fellas, It makes me look into those backyards for the old abandon cars.

Another post to mull over while you're sheltering-in-place.
