Do you back off the rockers when the car is stored for the winter?
Most race gaskets are made with the same materials as production car gaskets (the exception is copper gaskets). Why would anti-freeze damage gaskets? |

I have never backed-off the rockers. I have always drained the radiator and refilled with straight anti freeze, holds 1 1/2 gallons, then run the electric water pump for 5 minutes, then away it goes. Sometimes I would go visit it once a month to turn it over by hand 180*. Don't know if it needs to be done, but at least I got to visit her. Always stays in the trailer at the track, but soon she will be able to stay with me!
