No.
Lots of cars would have the tire hit the inner wheel well before hitting the springs. No way to tell with tubs. Only thing "allowed' is the use of a BFH..(Ford tool)

There is no tech ! Sounds like you don't want to fix it anyway, so just worry about it if someone says something. Wait..You already told hundreds of racers about it...Disregard first sentence.

You must consider those 2 portions of the rulebook before moving forward…
Stock cars rules are so clear and easily interpretable… In the section 11A, page 10 WHEELS…Any wheel/tire combination may be used that does not require alterations to wheelwells. In the section 11A, page 10 BODY…Alterations or customizing prohibited; extent of customizing is limited to paint only. |
