I know this won’t happen either, but what about putting some sort of valve spring pressure rule into place? Maybe if one didn’t have to, or wasn’t allowed to, run so much spring pressure to keep their valvetrain under control with a radical cam lobe , they won’t wear out camshafts and lifters every other season.

Makes total sense. But the problem is that people would have to be paid to check that. And I'm pretty sure that golfing fees have gone up like everything else so the suits are not gonna go for something like that.

My billet cam $710 from bullet, not $1200.
