Frankly, IMO, this thread is ridiculous! If a little crud on your shifter mechanism causes you to lose sleep then wipe it off and go race. Further, if you feel a relube is necessary too, chose your favorite lube, grease, oil and just dab it for christ sake. If you must be told what lube to use, IMO you don't belong behind the wheel of a race car but you could call the manufacturer and ask!

You get exactly what you deserve!
I did try to ring the manufacturer before I put the post up, it rung out.
They way I look at it, whatever they used was a good choice, wasn?t causing trouble, good enough for me to reuse!
Thought someone on here may know, been a few threads about these shifters.
I did end up getting through and found out what I wanted..
