With the new cars H/P factors providing a platform for class dominance, how long before NHRA allows Ford and Mopar to buy some "variable dial-in". Can you imagine looking over and seeing a dial-in of 9.7 instead of 9.76 on a CJ/DP window for first round of the eliminator. Not 9.70, but 9.7anything....that's right, since Ford and Mopar are such good friends with NHRA, just dial the CJ/DPs to the tenth. High rollers get that checkbook out and order a WIN! ...."I'll have a dominant bogus H/P factor...with a side of variable dial-in....and a Pepsi"

This is the same crap that was posted when the fuel injected Firebird and Camaro was allowed to compete. The ignorant are often scared of progress and tend to attempt to vilify that which they dont understand.

Big Show, I don't know or care who you are but bogus cars with bogus hp ratings are not progress. It's about greed and money and anyone who think it's not is an idiot.

Greg, I think I might need to try the hard stuff. No, I just hate to here folks on here upset because they feel that they can't compete with the new cars. People that have givin a large portion of their life to the sport, now are being drivin out. The folks that built it to what it is today don't deserve that. I understand promotion, sales, money, and new blood lines on the farm, I get it! Bring in the new blood, but don't trash the farm in the process. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Bring in more folks and new cars, that's great but just tighten it up a little as not to drive off the ones that built it. The car count and culture needs to thrive....not starve. I'm sorry.....I just love the racing and I want it still alive and well when I get there!

They already have variable dial ins. It's called index racing, which is pretty popular at your local tracks.
