Greg, I think I might need to try the hard stuff. No, I just hate to here folks on here upset because they feel that they can't compete with the new cars. People that have givin a large portion of their life to the sport, now are being drivin out. The folks that built it to what it is today don't deserve that. I understand promotion, sales, money, and new blood lines on the farm, I get it! Bring in the new blood, but don't trash the farm in the process. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Bring in more folks and new cars, that's great but just tighten it up a little as not to drive off the ones that built it. The car count and culture needs to thrive....not starve. I'm sorry.....I just love the racing and I want it still alive and well when I get there!

Either his post count is wrong (I think so) or he doesn't respond, the point still is that he was around since 03.

Oh, and as far as this thread goes? Very antagonistic and not very productive, your better than that Wade.

They already have variable dial ins. It's called index racing, which is pretty popular at your local tracks.

The LT! and Ls1 cars were under rated also by about 50 hp. That little deal ran off a lot of good racers especially those with G,F,E and D cars. NHRA finally had to put them in their own classes until the hp ratings became more realistic. Now those cars don't have an advantage over the older cars because they are rated close to what they should be. The big difference in the 94- 2002 Firebirds and Camaros is that they were cars that were made and sold to the public and could be liscensed and driven on the road.

I agree.
The last Ford production car allowed in Stock was the 2008 Mustang GT.
Not a single production car Ford engine was legal after that.
