Default Turbo 350 Fluid Capacity

Can someone give me a good starting point for a Turbo 350 with deep aluminum pan, this is a newly buiult trans and wanted to get an idea before startup. I use the Lokar dipstich which is a pain to read

8 quarts, start with 7 and check and recheck

Heads up on the Lokar dipstick. I had problems reading mine as well until Trans man Jack Sepanik came over and use a piece of sand paper on it. This helped the fluid stick and I found it much easier to read. I also suggest you check the length of the dipstick by taking the pan down and making sure. I found mine was off a little.
