Hey guys. WOW what a mess! Here in Muhlenberg County, the entire county was 100% without power for almost 6 days! Finally got the main two towns power on Monday morning so things are starting to get better but we are still 70% without power here.
Did not know how blessed we all were til the nessesaties are gone! Of course the good ole' Liquor Stop was open every day...see IRS, I knew that 8K generator would come in handy at the store! On Tuesday and Wednesday of last week the only place that was open at all was the Liquor Stop...wish I had a hardware store, I would have been trying to help people out there also. Kinda wierd when a car load of people come up and all they wanted was food for their kids! I had slim jims, peanuts and chips and they were glad to get them, no one else was open at all! Anyway we are way better now...Thank you to the line men from all over who helped! Power out at home is still much better now that you can at least buy food and get gas...not exactely in that order, lol. Glad everyone else is making it too can't wait to see everyone at the track.
