Question Re: for my class win at va.

Now that most of the contigency sponsors have dropped out of NHRA racing the few that are left should have no problems validating a bona fide claim and paying at the track .If what others have been saying that the money is already pledged !!!! then its payup or get out--No point that the racers hafta kiss everbodys *** to get a few bucks---Maybe if the group that did not get paid showed up at the Companys office (say 20-50) people they might get the hint--Think so ?? Maybe all racers should REMOVE those stickers that do not pay---Think the Co. might get the idea that nobody is running their product BUT/AND NHRA is pocketing the money ??? Comp 387

Angry Re: for my class win at va.

If anyone in the NHRA wants to help racers, in hard economic times, they need to see they get paid. Extending that seatbelt rule to 5 years(2 years is ridiculous) would be another step in the right direction, but, that's another story.

Not that easy to exend the belt rule. The belt rule is a SFI rule and NHRA along with many others subscribe to the SFI rules for insurance and liabillity issues.

Red face Re: for my class win at va.

gene, put the monopoly game away...

NHRA has milked the contingency cow till she's about gone dry, however if you post you must pay.
crane, & VP have paid me for st louis, none for indy yet...looking for M/T too.

and i forsee nothing in the future unless between racer & manufacturer... why let NHRA screw them ?

I think you are correct. NHRA should earn their "administration fee" and see to it that they all pay up, or else pay you out of that if they can't deliver.
