We (US Class Nats) incorporated IHRA classes with NHRA, the classes that are the same in NHRA & IHRA was ran at NHRA weight breaks, and indexes and some of the lower classes in Stock that had major weight break combo's we put an "I" before the class, like IW/SA.

first off i would like to say thank you for this venture, its the most wonderful thing to happen to sportsman racing in a long time.also i'm in heaven also because i grew up with modified and love the idea.i can't wait for a race in the midwest i will be there as a spectator if the car is not done by then.i would also like to ask a question,on inside comp racing website they have all talked about a nostalgia class for compand thought that this falls right into what you are talking about with the modified/comp theme you are bringing, could it be a possibilty to do something along the lines of doing this and keeping it to a 23 degree head class to help keep the cost down and as a beginner type class for this venture and also bring in some new blood so to speak.i,m sorry in advance to bother you with such minor details,i know you have your plate full i was just thinking outloud. thank you for all you are trying to do to preserve the great sport of sportsman drag racing. scotty d .
