Orlando- final qualifying madness

The last round of qualifying had all the top drivers scrambling for the number one spot. In a fourteen car field there is only one buy starting second round. With only a four round race you can see how important the number one spot can be. Sal Biondo and Bill Mayo won this battle for now. First round will be tough For Sal and Bill, Rampy can run with the best of them.

Comp is such a cool class when drivers and owners try to jockey for the best qualifying spot. The picture below of Dave Connolly and Vinny Barone is just one of many cars that were checked after the last qualifying shot.
