aluminum is trick but check for leaks before installing. I have 2 bungs welded on mine and the welds are tiged mint...but I have a trunk that smells like fuel because of a small pin hole. The leak is so slow that the fuel actually evaporates before it has a chance to drip but the smell is still there.

Plastic as well mine stinks unless only 1 gallon always thought was venting problem. Had to respond no help here that gremlin still lives in garage.

use aluminium, mine is a RCI and so far no problems. only wish it had a -10 outlet.

the alum. 5 gal unit from jaz has -8 outlets.
