They are Super Stock Cars..There are both Mustangs and Challengers that you can buy and run on the street...those are Stockers and are what should be raced in Stock! I really appreciate the fact that the factories are building modern Stock Eliminator packages. I appreciate your argument, but there is so much stuff on the street legal packages of these cars that was never on the old cars and doesn't have to be on the new ones.

The intake doesn't look "Stock", but an Edelbrock Six Pack intake with three Holleys probably didn't look so stock to a guy running a Nomad in 1969. I wonder what they thought about that lift off hood? The fact that the intake is on a fuel injected motor makes me wonder what the true gains in HP would be over a shorter one. You only need so much plenum volume ahead of the injectors. Maybe someone wiser than me can answer that? It does look cool!

These cars are good for class racing. Just look at how much traffic this web site has gotten from them!

As someone who has built several late model Stockers, I can tell you that it is a real shame to remove pickup loads of brand new parts and haul them to a junk yard.

Guys, I wish I had a tape measure with me . That Intake has to be a foot tall and that's not the only "SPECIAL" piece in that engine...very impressive, it's going to be very competitive with cobra jets...Luke

It really isn't fair to throw them in the mix with the cars that have been sorted out and know where they stand.

That hood looks like it has the new scoop on it (probably why it has no paint)....NHRA didn't like the original scoop that Mopar had on them and made them change it for certification.....

that motor looks alot like a gm LS motor...UUMMM...
