Default How much horsepower ?

How much horsepower to take a 3600-3700 race weight car the following times with a TH400 trans ?

11.50
10.90
10.50
10.00

Say a Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang etc at that weight
Figure small blocks that dont have a ton of torque

For you stick guys out there, how much hp to go that fast with a 4 speed at that weight ?

How much HP would a 3650 chevelle have at the engine as a guess with the following ET's and driveline

3650 chevelle race weight
327 small block

Spun hard so we leave from an idle and spins hard from an idle just not as bad,, anyways here is some ET info

60' 1.765 (spun through low gear)
1/8 7.49 @94.93mph
1/4 11.645 @118.98mph but lifted before lights

Next best pass which was a little too wild (which we think was the track)
60' 1.62 (leaving 3600rpm off t-brake and 35-40' out went to the left out of groove and had to be pulled in)
1/4 11.70 @117.56mph (on and off throttle 3 times, last was lifted car length or so before lights)

I need to figure out the suspension and the walking in the groove,,,, our other car walked in the groove too but with a 32x14.5W it felt fine. The Chevelle on 8.6" tread is not fun

Im looking at maybe putting a radial on it,, How will a radial hook leaving off the transbrake ? Any tricks to radials ?

I see alot of race cars going to Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials on 100% drag cars, i watched a mustand go 1.28 60' on a pair of 275/60 15's

Here is a video of the 11.645 @118.98mph pass

Thoughts ?
