Unhappy Re: Unmitigated Greed

This is very sad as this shows the complete lack of care or respect for the classes and competitors that started the NHRA. The leadership of this organization is totally lost as to what is real world at this time. I'm at work wondering if i will have a job next week and at the same time trying to figure how to build a class car for my son's who will be driving soon. Screwed up priorities maybe but this was a disease passed down to me by my father and my brother's and i have met truly great friends through our racing. Most of us got started through family or a neighbor, or just being there but that all is out the window now as it is time to support the local associations and local tracks. We used to attend when we could but did not interfere with our NHRA schedule as we considered this the "big show". We used all available resources and vacatiobn to attend Drag Races with the NHRA. Fishing? never learned but could read you a timeslip in 5 seconds. Camping? is it illegal to burn rubber to get the same aroma? If there is an association on the West coast I will do all I can to support and help in anyway.

Hope to see you all again
