Didn't Steven Johnson just beat Jimmy Ronzello for class at Atlanta this weekend? You guys complaining about the Cobra Jets are providing us Ford guys with a great deal of entertainment about this whole issue.

dwyndorf,
George's car did not run well this weekend. BTW he has been the only CJ owner/supporter who has shown a good sense of fair play. I respect him for honest responses.

Entertainment! You haven't seen entertainment yet.

I believe another "S" on the window is the only change. Sure didn't run any quicker than a Stocker.

Smitty,
You side stepped my question again. Respestfully disagree? What is wrong with running these 750-800 Horsepower cars in a FX class or Computerized Injected class? Please answer. I told you that I wasn't up on Comp. Turns out it applies to Street Roadster classes in Comp..

Art,
Combine classes? What are you talking about?

Sorry I thought you were part of the diatribe to cut the number of classes. Looking back it seems I was wrong.

George or Jimmy,
How about an update on how your race at Atlanta went, and are you headed to the points meet at Indy?

Bruce,

I don't see why the car can't run in a FX class in Super Stock but that isn't what Ford Racing intended on initially. The wanted a factory stocker and that went about building one like you would if you started with a factory bought vehicle. Everyone is screaming about the car making too much power, Ford has pulled a fast one blah blah blah. But how many cars running in Stock and Super Stock are underfactored? Is the number one qualifier from SS in Atlanta this weekend underfactored? Is Bobby Dennis, Colin Wigle, and Frank Grossi's combos underfactored? We could find several out there that are and we would constantly be changing the factors. I still don't see the issue, these cars have the potential to dominate the 427 Chevy's, Hemi Cars, and the orignal 428 CJ's but it has not proven in heads up competion yet. All I am saying is let the cars run and the system will work if they are too fast, don't kill them with a ink pen!
