nhra is meant to make a good faith effort to determine the true horsepower of a combination before it issues it's factored Horsepower. In this case they just took Ford's word for it and now we have a 750+ Horsepower car in Stock. 69 Cobra, I made reference to the 510 motor as a method of comparison one time. I called the little 281 motor the cousin of the 330 motor and said the 330 motor should given the same Horsepower. I still believe that. Did you see the first 200 mph run in nhra history or how about the first 286 mph run in nhra history? No BS they really happened.
