Cool Re: Help a super stock rookie

Call Rick Waters at 623 780 8778. Your cid is a little to big, you would be carrying way to much weight. Drop it into the teens or twenties. Call Bob Book @ 815 464 7200 and he will send you a great carb. These guys both know there **** Rick builds some of the fastest comp motors ,Bob has the best carbs and builds some of the fastest pro stock motors out there. Both very smart people and are glad to shoot the **** with you to help you out.

Thanks for the info so far. No comments on the tire size or the lack of a 4 link?

Talking Re: Help a super stock rookie

Steve Wann's SS/HA Cuda has 9" stocker Hoosier radials. High 1.20 60's, 9.70's @ sea level. Bobby D. (AA/SA) and Robert Pond (AA/S, no radials) the same.Big tires are overrated.

I'm going from a 9x29.5 that saw 10.00's with 7800 RPM launch & Cal-Track system to a really big 12.5x30.5 steam roller tire and plain old ladder bars and mini-tubbed factory wheel house. Trully 20th century tech in the 21st century.
