Default Re: Ceramic front brake shoes

I didn't have that great of an experence with Dynopraise. I ended up replacing all of the wheel cylinders because 2 of them wouldn't bleed properly. Every time you tried to brake pedal bleed they would take air. The other 2 leaked into the drum durring the winter .and the guy wouldn't make good on any of it. When I replaced them on my own I measured the bore dia, and it was the same as the factory size. NOT bigger like he claims. The return springs are supposed to be special, and they are the same you can buy at Napa, each spring was the exact same color and size as the ones in the spring kit I took off my car. I bent 2 of the front wheel cylinder pin that they supplied in the kit and had to buy new ones. The shoes work OK but other than that I'd go out and have somebody reline your shoes with a forklift lining or something, or just buy the shoes and keep the hardware you have. He told me on the phone that these were not intended for racing and if he knew I was going to use them for racing he would have never sold them to me. I'm not trying to bash this company, just sharing my experence so people don't make the same mistake I made. I could have saved about 200.00.

I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. I've had it on my car for three years with no regrets.
