Love it!!
Dave - That was going to be my question, too. What is the rule regarding fabricated housings? I thought that was a no-no. I don't have my rulebook handy, so hopefully, someone can clarify.

That is not a fabricated housing. Mark puts all the bracing on a factory 9" then has it powdercoated. I have the same rear from him in my nova. The truck came out beautiful. Good luck today!

Wow! That's an amazing job then. There must be added bracing along the back of it too?? Looks completely fabricated...even the fill plug on top!!
Doesn't look like the housing is rounded in the back at all either. ???

Beautiful truck. As for the housing - we all know that you cannot run a fabricated housing. And, if you think they won't check - NHRA made me change the one in my GT/B Beretta and also checked our FJ Smith Firebird - came to the conclusion that his housing wasn't totally fabricated and let it pass.

I think it has to have the factory pumpkin, the tubes are not original I believe. Gonna have to take a pic of mine to compare. My first time out last year I was questioned by a couple of racers. Passed tech everytime. I am going to have to ask him, don't want to put my foot in my mouth.

Larry - I sure think a guy would want to avoid any "grey" area as much as possible. If there's ever any question, they usually send you home to think about how to correct it! :-) That truck is eye-popping...hope all goes well.

Mark, It looks great, see you Saturday
Others-It is a SS/TB which is a modified truck, not a GT truck and the rearend rule and hood rule are different i believe. Dave
