Default Need a Mega 450 delay box yesterday.

Pulled the car off the trailer today, screen on delay box is fried now. Weird though. Worked on Saturday when I pulled the car onto the trailer in Joliet. Big money race this weekend. Need one to borrow or buy super cheap. Going to take a week to get this one repaired by Digital Delay. Need yesterday.

Edit: Guess I should have put this in classifieds. Admin, move it if you want. I think all this talk about delay jinxed me.

JJ, Charlie Hamma will be at Indy, maybe there already. Look up Mike Fuqua as soon as you get in the gate, he will help you find one to barrow and give yours to Charlie so he can take it back with him to fix.

why did you need that was your trailer in danger of rolling down a hill?

If you do not have a digital delay box to use for a wheel chock you may also find good use of a TAG weather station, It will be able to add rolling resistance for ya.

Funny you say that, Chris, Tag is holding my dad's Data Wizard hostage with no call in 2 weeks. We should have realized how shady those dudes are when it said "DO NOT CALL, WE'LL CALL YOU" on the site. Maybe we'll get it back in time for the Dutch :P

But I also agree, K&R boxes are great, my dad didn't have a problem for 10 years and only went in for an update and customer service was great. I had a little bit of an issue about 4 years in, sent it back, and got it back within the week. Those Mega's seem kinda tempramental from what I hear and seem a little easier to put the wrong numbers in.

Think I'm just going to skip this weekend. Don't want to pay my $500, and then not be able to come up with one. Plus, I wanted to test last night. First time out to bracket with new trans brake, and haven't ran the car all out yet.

I haven't had experience with the K&Rs. I like the practice tree function on the Mega450. Plus, my carbon fiber dash is cut out perfectly for the mega. Speaking of putting in wrong numbers. That's what I did first round in Joliet. Throttle stop one was set on .10. Delay was .010. Was running at 10pm. Went to add to the delay, and ended up changing the throttle stop 1 to .18.
