Thanks to all the Ford Racers who have come out to these Town Halls. It's been great meeting all of you and walking the pits checking out your race cars.

The originally scheduled event for Norwalk tonight will not take place. Due to the excellent turnout in Joliet and the large crossover of racers we elected to hold off on Norwalk and concentrate on a very strong Indy presence.

Expect Indy to have some exciting news and first looks, as well as a dinner like last year. Full details to follow!

In the meantime, if you haven't looked already check out one of Ford's newer websites at www.fordstory.com . It updates Ford enthusiasts with the latest events regarding new vehicles, technology, and programs like the "cash for clunkers".

Thanks again for campaigning a Ford! We appreciate your support on the racetrack as well as in your home towns.

BODY IN WHITE UPDATE!!!!
We appreciate your inquiries regarding our body-in-white (BIW) program.

Unfortunately our 2010 program has been slightly delayed. While we still plan to have pricing shortly the likelihood of having kits ready for pickup in time to complete a car for the 2010 season is slim. Currently we are expecting to have kits including interior and exterior trim available November or December.

In the meantime I encourage any interested parties to look into a 2005-2009 body starting from a donor Mustang. I have seen these cars, especially those with salvage titles, going for very reasonable prices.

We have a limited number of 2009 BIW available for sale with a suggested retail of $3200. These can be ordered via this form.
http://www.fordracingparts.com/downl...n_20090722.pdf

Additionally any customer purchasing a BIW is eligible to purchase our trim kit from the road race program that includes glass, exterior trim and fasteners, dash, assorted interior trim, and some small additional parts to help build the car. The biggest lacking area will be some of the interior trim. These kits will be sold to those BIW customers for $1995.

Depending on what you plan to make your 2009 BIW look like we offer many of the Cobra Jet items both for performance and looks. Take a look at:
http://www.fordracingparts.com/mustang/herocard10.asp

For any small Mustang parts, or even whole salvage cars I encourage you to visit http://mpsautosalvage.com/sunshop/ . They specialize in Mustang parts at reasonable prices.

See you at Indy! We are targeting a Wednesday night dinner. Details to come in the next few weeks!

Thank you for your support of the Ford brand and your enthusiasm for the Cobra Jet as well as our parts program. I hope this helps answer some of the questions you have.
