The original Irwindale Raceway in the '70's had a two-amber tree,so did Orange County until it closed .I learned on a 4 speed car,and it was fun holding the clutch in, the gas pedal down, and trying to keep from rolling while waiting on Sutton to send down the lights. The first five amber tree I ever raced against was at the Winternationals. It taught us patience and how to wait.
