It is a beautiful day here at Indy. Lots of people came in overnight and they are parking them now. Larry has gone down to fuel check to make sure he's good, since he got DQ'd last week at Bowling Green. Well, he just got back and we are good to go.
I am going to keep times today, so I can see the MPH. Since that isn't posted, I will let you know who is sandbagging. More later. Patsy |

Larry and Patsy,
Thanks for the great coverage and the photos. It stinks not being at Indy, so it's nice at least see some of the people and the action. Unfortunately, I had to skip it this year. Hopefully I'll make it next year. Good luck to everyone. Thanks, Evan

Heard a Blown Stang went 1.39 under in A/SA. Maybe we should have a CIC race at Indy?
![]() Correction, I guess he went 139 MPH!!! Was 1.26 under. No Factory orders here! I give them all credit, if you don't hang it out at Indy, what are you saving it for?

147 cars made an attempt to go down 1st qualifying run this morning. Those with problems: Teuton-don't know what happened, Kevin Walsh-broke rear end probably, Defrank-broke on line, Gary Emmons-left before tree activated, and Big Daddy was pushed off the line!
Times should be up shortly, but it was fast. Lots of 1.20 under. New Mustangs--Holzman AA/SA 9.63, 139, Holzman A/SA 9.96, 133, Nicholson A/SA 10.04, 135. New Challengers--Johns A/SA 10.14, 119, Duell A/SA 10.13, 117. So all us old cars are as they say "sucking hind ***". But at least I think we are in the show at 10.19 and -1.10 under. Oh the air was 1595'. More later. Patsy |

Thanks for the notes on the CJ's and Challengers, Patsy.
I just hope Bill Dedman and the rest of the anti-CJ crowd don't see those numbers!!
