Scott Gove - 7.97 at Epping in SS/AM

Scott ran a 7.97 in his third round loss today. I believe this is the first naturally aspirated Super Stocker in the 7's! I know he has been working hard to get this for the past several years. Congratulations Scott!

I thought he had all ready set the record at a 7.99 in 07.I know when I talked to him last year he had been in the 7s.That is fast for a small block.

If I am not mistaken, Scott has been as fast as 7.95 before with his car. I remember seeing this in his ND ad when the car was For Sale for $110,000.

That could be Terrance. I know he has done it in testing at Atco, but wasn't sure if he had done it in competition...well anyway, that's quite a feat!

It's a pseudo-Super Stocker, Earle. In reality, it's an A/Modified Production car. Even still, breaking into the 7-second zone shows how far these cars have come.
