Some excellent replies so far. Time at the track is the best way to start. Even in your daily driver. Then baby steps.
If you HAVE to have a license quick, you can't do better than Frank Hawley's schools. They do remote courses around the country, and it's the best $2k you'll spend if you really want to get in a car now.
