The first time I ran my car at Gainesville was a Test N Tune night. First 1/4 mile full pass 9.95. You would have thought I had committed the un pardonable sin... At the ticket booth I was told to go straight to tech. Not back to my trailer first just straight to tech... Track manager and I believe even Don came to tech. They wanted to see my chassis cert. I didn't have one... The cage was there but just not certified.. I was told if I made another pass under 10 seconds I would be banned from the track for one year. I packed up my game and went home. Got the car certified and all was well..... this is a NHRA owned track and I understand the rules and don't have a problem with them as long as we ALL play by the same rules....... Just my 2 cents worth........
