four link set up ? enlighten us please

BTW Im not taking anything away from the owner or the builder of this car Very nice job, Im just curious to know a
a little more on these new Hot Rods
How can I enlighten anyone? Someone needs to enlighten NHRA about these limited production cars but no one cares anymore except the poor racer who has to run these things heads up for class. It is very nice work being performed but these cars along with the blown Mustangs belong in S/S not stock and with a more realistic HP factor. The manufacturers seem to be able to get away with anything they want these days especially if the manufacturer in "In Bed" with the racing association. Just as Bob Pagano said why was the Corvette limited to the way they are required to mount a solid axle? At least the Corvette was showroom avaliable and legal to register and tag for the street. I wish FARMER was still in charge.

With today's economy how could we expect any of these cars to be mass produced. I think the car does more good than anything. I think the Mustangs are way more out of control that the Drag Pak cars. At least you can try to chop the tree against the challenger. I feel for anyone that has to race against the Mustangs in class, they don't have a chance.

Now, I agree, NHRA goofed with the suspension issue and if they make exceptions like this, there should be parity across the board for all cars in similar situations as this one.

Now, to resolve this issue, NHRA should make a super/special/unique race ready cars from the factory with no limitations on how many cars were produced from the factory. Put all of the outlawed stock combinations into one class with a 10.80 index and let them go. Less wining and more available car combo's.

Sorry to derail this discussion, but does anyone know whether ANY of the new Drag Pack Challengers are being prepared with the 360 Magnum motor? All I've heard about are Hemis.... so far.

Bill D.
The number of 360 cars I heard was only three. Supposedly they are building all the 6.1 cars first. It has been interesting watch all the late model stocker saga play out. Who knows when they will get to the 360 cars. I've lost track of what car number they are up to now.

Be extremely careful what you wish for. I seriously doubt that you'd love the next "benevolent dictator" you'd get from NHRA. I'm not sure anyone likes the one we have now, or any of his "deputies".
