When the car was sold at B-J in 2006, I think the engine was put back in stock trim. No headers, it had the exhaust manifolds on it. The buyer, Ralph was a nice guy, just got caught up in the frenzy. Not his fault,
looks like he just wanted a chance to drive an NHRA Championship car. Didn't even care about Ray Allen, or Truppi/Kling. There was actually a video of him doing a burn-out with the car in a parking lot with the convertible top down. Looked like a kid in a candy store, with the owner not looking. Can't blame him, if he's got the cash to burn. Unfortunately, It sent the whole musclecar-network into a 360-spin. PC |
