Maybe SFI could come to the track and certify its safety before we run. I am sure NHRA would agree. Safety concerns about a racing surface should never fall on deaf ears.

I guess it might be time to strike "Safety First" from the NHRA logo and replace it with:

"Safety First, As Long As We Get Our Piece"

I'll bet there will be a new rule about where photographers can stand after that.
that looks to be a little more dangerous that joyriding on a golf cart!

no way I would have stood there!
