That rule only applies to only Divisional points total. National points you can count the best 5 out 8 regardless of home or out of division.


Also note that you have to claim 3 out of your 5 best races counting towards your divisional point total as home division races. So its possible to run only 3 home division races and then run 5 out of division races claiming the best 2 out of those 5 out of division races towards your divisional points total. Clear as mud!
