January Testing and Tuning in the South ?

I really dont want to go to Phoenix, and I still will if I have to but.....Im hoping there is something closer, I live in Ohio so that aint gonna fly.

Chris, South Ga Motorsports Park is scheduled to be open all year.. They have a "bracket race" scheduled for Jan 2nd.... they usually have a test n tune the day before but that is New Years Day. Check their web site www.racesgmp.com and see what they have... I race there regulary.. Great track, great people and they have a lot of people just like you that want to get their set up right.... I know they have a lot of Pro Stock testing in the winter.... Also we have West Palm Beach international Raceway ( www.racepbir.com) they are also open all year... I know that Allen Johnson is testing his new Avenger this next week there... They also have an IHRA event late in January... New all concrete facility... I have not raced there but have heard wonderful reports on the track..... Let me know if you need a pit guy for your testing... If I'm in town I'd like to see it.... Mack

I looked at that and palm looks like the 2nd there is an all day TandT and on the 6th in PB, then Tampa for some engine work, then home till Feb 1st, then the long trek west to Pomona........Im just hoping like hell I have my Headers by Jan, or I find a set to borrow, ...

Just curious. When do you plan on entering Pomona?

Chris, Also check with Gainesville Raceway... They have a test N tune scheduled for every Saturday in January except for the 2nd... If my headers are back from Nitro Plate they will be available for you to use.. I surely not going to be ready..... I'm having the egt bungs welded in this week and then its off to plating.. They tell me two weeks... Could be close but we will see..... Mack
