Our hearts are very heavy today. We were most fortunate to be able to have known The Shoe and his wife. He always carried a joke and a big heart wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by everyone. R.I.P. "Big Jim" and God Bless...
To share a small memory, i was at Atco bar and a little over the top and told Jim that i was afraid i couldn't get back to the motorhome and he assured me that If I fell down, he would carry me to the motorhome......so now, god gets to carry him to heaven and the memories will live on.....

The outpour of calls, Checks, letters, E-Mails, posts, and Text messages in the past week are astounding. The sticker that was designed to remember "THE SHOE" is going to be sent to all that is able to make a contribution to this support fund.

BIG DADDY finally MADE A PLAN. He wanted to go racing with Kenny Martin, his best friend, and now they are forever leaving the line with a drink in hand..... Drag racing has lost a major celeb today. THE SHOE was one of the finest sportsman racers this sport will ever know.

You will not be forgotten by many. The lanes may stay the same but, the pits will always be yours Jimmy!!!!!!!!
