Nothing better than M/P racing back in the day. I really miss those days. Worst decision ever by NHRA to discontinue it IMO.

I just wonder whatever happened to all those old M/P cars? Just refuse to believe all of them ended up being converted to bracket cars.
I know my old friend, Toby Meek, still had both his old V/S and D/MC Pintos, as of about 5-6 years ago. Imagine, many others are just sitting in a garage somewhere. Treasues waiting to be rediscovered, LOL?

There is one in our city and the owner comes out about once every 2 years or so to bracket race. Something like 305 ci , 5 speed, 6.20 or so rear gears (Dana 60). Here is a pic ...
