With that big of a motor and at that RPM, that's quite a bit of airflow.A dual plane intake is for low RPM production of torque.That's why everybody used them.Open up that intake as much as possible in the plenum area,remove as much divider as possible, remember, the 207 QJet isn't an enormous carb(my 8.5:1 327 stocker motor uses one),so do what you have to to enhance airflow.I would rethink that rpm limit if I were you.This is a torque motor,not a comp eliminator powerplant. Excessive RPM doesn't enhance longevity.
