Ryan, there is a guy around here that does chrome powder coating, see my intake if this works.

Barney, That looks way better than any "chrome " powder coating I've had done !....Was it actually powder ,or the SpectraChrome process? .....I've seen some motorcycle parts done in SpectraChrome ,and they really do appear to be chrome plated. ......Tom

Tom, they said it is a powder coating process. It is as nice as chrome. We was going to do the cage on my new American but I decided not to.

Their photos of their work are pretty impressive looking. ......I was really into chrome when I built my Willys back in '84. ....Over the years I replaced most of it with powder coating,but now that I'm rebuilding it as an 8 second street car ,I'd like to get some "shiney"back on it. .........Tom

I think that powdercoating on intakes is illegal. If you have a carb fire it could put off hazardous gasses and you'll get fined, only if you live in Ohio and your name is Barney and drive a dragster...
