Could the fans starting be putting too much of a draw on your electrical system for the computer to function properly? Good alternator and battery? A meter check of these might give you a hint....WJ

Can you route the intake away from the fans, maybe under toward the grill area? Maybe try the fans on a switch, you shouldn't need them going down the track.

Well after messing with this thing this afternoon I ended up reversing the wires on the fan making the fan a pusher and blowing the air through the radiator. I know this is not the best way to do it but it seems to have stoped the surging when the fan kicks on. Thanks for all your suggestions and help.
