The number I was given by NHRA was 1220 which just happens to be my birthday. I got lucky and was able to get the same number for IHRA. Then a few years ago I renewed my NHRA membership and got my membership card in the mail. About a month went by and I realized I didn't get my Competition license so I called NHRA and asked why and they said I never renewed it even though I checked the box on the paper work. It was their fault and things happen so I told the woman I would like to take care of it and she in a not so kind way told me they released my number and someone else already had it after only 1 month. It was NHRA's mistake but I was told too bad I couldn't get my number back. Thank you NHRA.
