Default 305 intake manifold question

1980 chev 305, 416 head, stocker, which intake makes the best power?

14014432-aluminum
14014440-cast iron
14057055-cast iron
14057053-aluminum

Dave , I use the 055 intake on my 1981 malibu, you can`t use the 053 on 80 or 81. Tom

I just looked at the blueprints specs again because I have 053 for mine and got worried I had made a mistake. But it is listed as an alternate manifold for the 305. That's the manifold several really good engine builders told me to use. JMT.

I had the same Question and spent money to find they are virtually identical. That is if the iron one wasn't very heavily rusted. ...Thanx Trevor

The CAST IRON one that weighs the same as the ALUMINUM one is usually the BEST one.

We have only run the aluminum on the car, I was refering to flow bench numbers...Thanx Trevor
